Meet Our Fantastic Team

Hi, my name is Iegsaan Ally and I am the founder of I Ace Consultancy.
I hold a teacher’s diploma, BA Degree and an Honours degree in Education Training and Development, from the University of Johannesburg.
I’ve been involved in education for over twenty years as teacher, Head of Department, member of the Senior Management Team and member of School Governing Body.
My experience in teaching and starting my own business in tuition and educational consulting allowed me to gain a bird’s- eye view of education. I am able to identify gaps in systems and create solutions to advance not only the individual, but also the organisation.
As teacher, counselor, artist and columnist (Roodepoort Record, 2013/14), I’ve learnt one important thing: Education is the key. I am passionate about developing people, and I believe that success is possible for everyone.

My name is Kaamilah Desai and I am a Master of Science candidate for Electrical & Information Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand. Software, big data, AI (artificial intelligence) and machine learning are some of my interests and areas of specialisation. As part of a national team representing South Africa, I participated in an international high-performance computing competition in Germany. We won the competition, competing against teams such as China, Germany and the USA.
"SOUTH AFRICA WINS INTERNATIONAL SUPER COMPUTING COMPETITION"
My work experience so far includes six weeks of vacation work at Isazi Consulting, where I wrote a machine-learning algorithm for Natural Language Processing. I also worked at SAP in their Co-Innovation Lab where I worked on a machine learning and artificial intelligence project.
I have always had a passion for teaching, especially in a creative way that engages the student and makes the process fun for both of us. Being an ex-student of mr. Ally, I experienced this first - hand. Working at I Ace now, both allows and encourages me to teach in the same way. It makes it more fulfilling when I see students change their attitude towards Mathematics and see the subject in a more positive light.
